• Entered between CDAC, ERNET and UoH to participate in the National Grid Initiative GARUDA. During Proof of Concept (PoC) a 100 Mbps bandwidth will terminate at CMSD/UoH, which will connect it with 40 institutes around 17 cities in India. GARUDA is a collaboration of science researchers and experimenters on a nation wide grid computational nodes, mass storage and scientific instruments that aims to provide the technological advances required to enable data and compute intensive science for the 21st century.
  • Memorandum of Understanding was signed for PRIME between San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) of the Unversity of California San Diego (UCSD), for collaborating with University of Hyderabad for research and training in the field of Bioinformatics.
